Park patter

These geese were photographed at St leonards on the Bellarine Peninsula Victoria. I am still trying to find the name of the lovely wetlands area near the beach which was home to many different varieties of birds. I visited this park a couple of times while I was house sitting at nearby Clifton Springs & each time I found a different bird to watch & enjoy.

Snow Gum Adamindaby

One of the many things I love about Australia is it’s beautiful gum trees. Recently I stayed in The Snowy Mountains in New South Wales & fell in love with the Snow Gums.

One of my most memorable treks, was into the amazing Machu Picchu. I will write more about this challenging trek & the amazement I  felt watching the mist clear, to reveal this awesome sight, in the future.

PS Industry Renmark

This beautiful Paddle Steamer is moored at Renmark on the River Murray, Riverland South Australia. It is one of a few wood fired paddle steamers that have been faithfully restored & offer the public the wonderful opportunity to cruise the peaceful River Murray.  This photo shows the engine room.

Where the river meets the sea

The Murray mouth. Australia’s longest river where it meets the sea. I have a huge passion for the this beautiful waterway & it’s longevity. It is the life blood of the country. It provides irrigation for our primary producers as well as being a source of stunning beauty.
